Jill has over 30 years of experience as legal counsel in a variety of industries, which helps her understand the well-being challenges faced by in-house attorneys and other professionals. In 2025 Jill created Monarch Beach Well-Being, LLC as a way to use her unique background to offer custom well-being services to organizations and individuals. Jill’s interests and expertise focus on the topics of mindfulness, music and finding moments of peace, quiet and focus throughout the day.

Jill’s legal experience includes roles at diverse technology companies including Novartis, the global pharmaceutical company and Verizon Wireless. She received both her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Juris Doctor Degree from the University of Arizona. Jill attended the University of Arizona for both her Juris Doctor and her Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics, where she graduated cum laude and was inducted into the Phi Beta Kappa academic honor society.

She served on the ACC Southern California Board of Directors from 2016 through 2021 and was co-creator of the Chapter’s Attorney Well-Being Committee, which received the Innovative Programming Effort Chapter Achievement Award from ACC in 2021. On a national level, Jill serves as a member of the ACC Global wellness advisory committee, has spoken at numerous ACC Annual Meetings including in Las Vegas, San Antonio and Nashville, and has authored articles on well-being topics for the ACC Docket publication. In 2024 she co-presented at the Annual Meeting in Nashville on the topic of “Mindfully Managing Your Day with Music” , a lively and interactive CLE session.

Jill received Mindfulness in Law Teacher Training, completed the MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) Program, and has attended numerous meditation retreats.

Jill has had a lifelong interest in music, learning the flute and piano at an early age and continuing to create and enjoy music over the years. She continues to pursue music classes at Saddleback Community College and participates as a flutist with the Saddleback College Wind Ensemble.
